Volunteers are the backbone of Cessnock Basketball Association, we are managed and operated by volunteers and there is a place for everyone within our basketball family.
Ways to be involved
Bench
Parent volunteers are required at every game to operate the scoreboard and tablets.
With the introduction of courtside tablets score keeping has never been easier, even if you have no previous basketball experience, there is always someone willing to help you learn.
Coach
Coaching opportunities are available for parents willing to take on the challenge. From beginners to experienced coaches, there's a place for you. Coaching courses are available through BNSW.
Team Manager
Do you crave organisation and good communication? You would be a perfect team manager! From domestic competitions to representative levels each team needs someone that can communicate with players, parents and coaches to help keep everything running smoothly.
Committee Member
Our committee members work closely with our Board or Directors to assist in keeping the association running. From uniform coordination, fundraising and event planning this is the ultimate place to offer your skills.
